The fabric feels really good quality and I like how the tie up leg is adjustable. They are not as high waisted as I would like and there is very little give in the waistband, I don't have a big butt or thighs but could hear stiches snapping and was worried I couldn't get them over my leg. The top sits just below the thinnest part of my waist and as it it is not stretchy, it is quite unflattering. This is also very camel toe prone, a lot of scrunching in the crotch area.
I ordered a large when I should have ordered a medium. That's my bad. However, I was disappointed with the quality of material for the price. If you want your pants to look as nice as the pictures, you really have to wrap your ankles up with the material and the drawstrings. And those suckers pull out easy so watch out! I just expected more for 40-50 dollars worth of fabric. Disappointed.
I love the style of these pants. I love namastetics. However, two things make me give them a 3... 1. When I received the pants, multiple seams had loose threads out of the bag. I mean, come on now thats just annoying and bad quality. 2. The band at the waist cuts in horribly. I own the Wander pants and now know I prefer them over the Pointe pants because the Wander has a seamless waist and is SO much more comfy. For reference, I have a 28 inch waist. Everything else is comfortable and cute. I have a nice athletic, big butt and quads and it fit those areas great! The color is beautiful. So if you're like me, and thats something you really dislike, go for the Wander and you'll be super happy! And the slit in the legs in Wander give you the same amount of room and airy feel as the Pointe, so don't worry about that if you take my advice and look at the Wander instead of these. I have squatted, plied, danced, hooped in them and the Wander pants are by far my favorite and wish I had bought more of those instead. These pants are a bummer.
